Final Meeting For Year Of Women's Division
As a mark of .appreciation for 1 the good work done 'by them throughout the year, the president (Mrs. BarLholomew) , the secretary (Mrs. Webb) and the treasurer (Mrs. Baldick) were each presented with a spray of flowers by Mrs. Shannon at the December meeting of the Levin branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers, held recently. The vice-presidents then presented each member with a shoulder spray with Christmas card attaohed. The delegate to the provincial meeting, Mrs. Osborne, presented her report on the recent executive meeting. Arrangements were finalised for entries iri the forthfcoming Horowhenua A. .and P. Show. At the conclusion of the business members. sang Christmas carols, assisted at the piano by Mrs. Allen. A musical competition was won by Mrs. Shannon. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Twisleton, Colquhoun, Myers and Stewart. The next meeting is to be held in February, 1950.
