Kimberley Institute Plans Christmas Party
Final • arrangements for the children's Christmas party, to toe held on Decemher 17, were made at the monthly meeting of the Kimberley Women's Institute, which was presided pver toy Mrs. Osborne. The meeting* decided to enter . a shop window display at the Horowhehua A. and P. Association's shoW during January. It was also agreed that the February meeting he staiged as a picnic in the Waiopehu Scenic Reserve. During the afternoon a bring-and-buy stall was operating and received the full support of the members. Results of monthly competitions ■Were as follows: — Flower: Mrs. Evans 1, Mrs. Dome 2, Mrs. Field 3. Spray: Mrs. Osborne 1, Mrs. Crowe 2, Mrs. Evans 3. Polyanthus rose: Mrs. FieM 1, Mrs. Aiteheson 2, Mrs. Crowe 3. Christmas novelty: Mrs. de Simas 1, Mrs, Aiteheson 2, Mrs. McGruer 3, Handmade apron: Mrs. Aiteheson 1, Machine made apron: Miss Woodmass 1. Hostesses for the aftemoon were Mesdames Waters, Rowiaiids and Summers, ... . ,
