Scots to Send Delegation to New Zealand

AUCKLAND, Dec. 5 A §eottish delegation, led by the Duke of Montrose, is expected to visii New Zealand early next year to seek - the'support of New Zealand Scots for the growing Scottish Covenant Move ment which is fighting for a S"'-*tish Parliament and a status similar "to thai of the Dominions. This announeement was made today by Mr I. M. Wilson, president of the Combined Council of Auckland Scottish Societies. He said support had ab'eadv been promised by Sir Janivi^ Pletcher and other prominent New Zealand Scots. Mr Wilspn added that no political pressure had yet been exerted, Scotland merely wanted a Parliament and when this was granted the people^ at the ballot, would choose their form of Government.
