AUCKLAND, Dec. 5. The bodv of Gordon Steed, agei( 2(5, single, of Rotorua, oue of the victiin.of Saturdav 's drowning tragedy, was reeovered froin the bottom of Lake Ko torua earlv this evening. The body was found near the spot where the throe men wore drowned. The bodies of the otlier two men, Konald Te Kiri, ageu 28, married, with two children, oi Ohinemutu, and Btephen Anthony fcjpain single, aged 19, are still inissing. Tiie three men wero drowned when they were swept off a launch on the lake on Saturday, afternoon. So far launches, dinghies, a diver and aireraft havc * taken part in the search. A home-made diving apparatus owned by Mr J. W vlie, of Rotorua, was used today. Work began early this uiorning and coutinued through,. the day. Touight over 109 .people, many of them Maoris, lined Rotorua wharf and watched the search continue.
