Flats For Pensioners To Be Built In Levin
As the result of representations niade by the Levin Borough Council for the provision of flats1 -for = pensioners who -might. ofherwise have to go to old people's homes, a, block of four flats _ is to be erected in Levin. Advice to this effeet was conveyed to the council at its meeting last night by the Housing Construction Division, which, in a letter, stated that the siting oi these units was being proceedec with immediately, after whicl tenders would be called for theii erection. Pleasurp was expressed by counciliors that this request had beer so quickly 'attended- to. __ , ,
