West Coast Cyclists For Games Trial
Manganui, Dec. 4. The following jcyclists have been selected to represent the West Coast (North Island) Centre at the New Zealand preliminary and final Empire Games trials an4 at the national trac-k championships : — 1000 metres time trial: F. Clinton, g. Wakely and C. Dickinson, all of Wanganui. 1000 metres sprints: Clinton, Wakely, Dickinson (Wanganui) and W. McKav (New Plymouth). 4000 metres individual pursuits: N. Vertongen (Palmerston North).. 4000 metres teams pursuits: N. Vertongen (Palmerston North), G. Wake-' ly and C. Dickinson (Wanganui), K. Osman- (Palmerston North). 10 mile unpaced: Vertongen, Wakely, Clinton, Osman, McKay and P. Butchei (Palmerston North). The preliminary trials take place at Wanganui next Friday and Saturday and the .final trials at Auckland from Deeember 15 to 17.
