Britain Still Wants All N.Z. Can Send
WELLINGTON, Dec. 2. "The last official communication we received from the British Food Ministry stated it wanted every ton of eheese and butter New Zealand coulu send to maintain the present ration, " said Mr. W. Marshall, chairman of the Dairy Produets Marketing Commission, when the cable message was referred to him. Mr. Marshall added that he thought the statements in the cable should be treated with considerable reserve untiJ official information was available. li the situation was really alarming tne Commission would have heard of il trom its Loudon director. Mr. Marshai. said when he was in London in Jiilj there was a fairly heavy accumulatlor of butter, but since then the ration hac been increased by one ounce weekly.
