. DUNEDIN, Nov. 29. ; The' X-ray. department of ' the Dunedin Hospital had its most . unusual patient today when a baby- elephani from a visiting circus was brolight in for examination. A f orlorn and unhappy little figure in a jaeket made froin blankets, the elephant stood patiehtly while' the X-ray was taken. The examinatioii confirmed the worst suspicions — thc baby elephant 's thigh bone had been broken. Just how recuperative treatment can be given to the bulky baby is a problem which now faces its owners.
