Personal. Mr. E. Beech, of Mangaore, rethrned home on Wednesday evening* after spending a' holiday in the South Island. Miss F. Burke, df ' the nursing staff of the Silverstream Hospital, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. B. Henshaw, Pretoria Road. Pedestrian Crossings. Members of the staff of .the Main Highways Board have just completed the painting of the warning diamonds to the pedestrian crossings along the -main streets. The crossings have aliso been repainted..
