Shannon Breeder Imports Galloway Heifers
Two thigh-class rising three-year Galloway heifers arrived on the Kaituna when she berthed in Auckland recently. These are to join Messrs R. J. Law and Son, "Lawton" herd at Shannon. One heifer, Trimly 3rd of Birkwood, bred hy the George Davies Trust, Selkirk, Scotland, is iby Barmark Majestic from Trimly of Birkwood .by Milnholm Favourite, and . has been exhibited at leading shows in Great Britain with great success, having won five first and championship prizes. The other heifer, Nannette 10th of Skitby was bred. by Charles Forrester, Carlisle, ,and is by Talisman of Knocknarling from Nannette of Skitby by Dreadnought 5th. Both were served by Mui'rey of Craigbeck foefore leaving Scotland. • This importarion was, arranged through Wright, Stephehson and Co.'s Stud Stock Department.
