Salvation Army's Annual Sale Of Work
The Salvation Arrny Hall attracted many eager buyers when the church's annual sale of work w.as* held yesterday afternoon. Four stalls well stocked with a variety of acoeptable articles did brisk business, thus ensuring the success oi the effort. The function was officially opened by Major A._Fletcher, who conducted hymns and prayers. Those in charge of the various stalls were: — Clothing stall: Mesdames La Roche and Amott; produce and flower stall, Major Ward and Mrs- Jukes; drapery stall, Mes-r dames Thomson and King. The cake stall was under the manage- ; ment of the Women's Chrisfian . Tem^perance Union. The hostess for the afte.nioon was Mrs. Dowd.
