Election Address. An election address will be giVen by Mr. B. A. Rodgers, official Labour candidate for the Manawatu, in the Renown Theatre on Thursday evening commencing at 8 p.m.v The residents of Mangaore wifi have the opportunity of hearing Mr. Rodgers at the Social Hall at 6.45 p.m. on Thursday evening. Calf Club Judging. The Shannon School Committee has arrangements . well in hand for the judging of ealves and lambs entered in this year's agricultural club competitions. Good entries have been received again this year, especially in the fat lamb competition, where there are over 60 entries. The judging will take at the school next Friday, and arrangements have been made to accommodate the large gathering of parents and other interested citizens who are expected to be present.
