The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Er-: nest Bevin, said in the" House of Commons today that he did not coiisider the Yalta Agreement gave the British Government the status for intervening in the appointment of the Russian, Marshal Rokossovsky, as Poland's Defence Minister. He was replying td a question by Mr. Raymond' Blokburn (Labour) , | who asked Mr. Bevin what protest he had made' to the Soyiet in respect of Marshal Rokosso vsky's ap^ pointment by Marshal Stalin conr stituting a breach of the agreement reached at Yalta for the sovereign independence of Poland.
