OPPOSITION TO STEEL BILL
Received Thursday, 9.45 a.m. LONDON, NOV. 16. The Leader- of the Qpposition, Mr. Churchill, said today that the Government "s decision to postpone the nationalisation of the iron and steel industry until after the" general election did not alter the Conservatives' opposition to this measure. ''Should we be returned to power, one of our first steps will be to expunge this wantoii, wasteful and partisan measure from theStatute Book," he told the House of Gom* mons.
