Automatic Lockups For Left Luggage

Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 16. Travellers arriving at Euston station, London, will not have to queue at the left luggage office in future in suoh large numbers. A number of automatic lockups sufficient for 40 sets of luggage at a time, have b.een installed. They are ingenious devices. A iraveller finds a locker which stands waiting with a key already in the lpck, puts sixpence in a slot and ean then turn the key, open the d°or> Pnt in his luggage, lock up, pocket the key and walk off with a newspaper under his arm. EaCh locker will hold a, fair-sized suitcase and other oddments. For sixpence it will keep these safe for 24 hours after which they will be removed to the ordihary left luggage office.
