BEVIN SEES NEED TO ACT WITH CAUTION

When considering recognition of the Chinese Communist Government Britain would have to act "with caution, reasonahle speed and the idea of getting the best results," the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Ernest Bevin, told the House of Commons today.
