The second round of. the interclub croquet matches was played at Palmerston North cn Thursday. Levin beat Orou^ by 85 points to 75. As there was a time limit on inter-club matches, several of the games wero not completed. The individuar scores are as follows with " Levin • players mentioned first: — • Singles: Mrs. Wenham 26, beal Mrs. Price 19; Mr. Boulton 19, beat Mrs. Flavell,16. Doubles: Me'sdaifies Gilmour and Staples 21, lost to Mesdames McKeown and Kalligan 22; Mesdames Dalzell and Findlater 19, beat Mesdames Mason and Pither 18.' The first match for the McBroun Buttons was played on November 14, Mesdames Boulton -and Bull playing Mesdames Mason and Powell.
