Soviet Submarine Base In Albania
BELGRADE, Nov. 14. i Western intelligence reports ard claimed to have eonfirmed stories that a Russian submarine base is being oper--ated on the island of Saseno off Albania, at the entrance to the Adriatic. Several months ago. Albanian refugees claimed that the Russians were building a large naval base on the island. Recent reports said Russian submarine crews had been seen in the streets of Yalona, Albania.
