New Development In Murder Inquiry (Special to "Chronicle") FOXTON, Nov. 14. ; Led by Police Commissioner D. J, Cummings and Suporintbndent JEJ, J.. J oyee, Qfficei--in-chargo of the Palmerston North Police District, a squad of deteetives this morning visited the Moutoa swamp arid recovered a sum of money believed to be betwe'en |30Q and 4M0Q. This is the latest 4§velopment in the investigation into the hputal murder of Mrs. Emily Christina Ualb elderly widow, of Foxton, since the dramatic arrest in a Foxton billiayd saloon last Thursday night pf a half*caste Maori, Napoleon Brown, flaxcutter, aged 28. . Brown will appear in Wellington on Friday on remand from Palmerston North to face a charge of the murder of Mrs. Hall. * ."7 "
