Threat Of Extinction Faces Germany's Jews
"Received Wednesdav 7 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 0. The Daily 3Ma.il correspondent says that Germany's .Tewish population which in 1933 stood at more than 500,000 is now only 20,000, aecording to an Amerioan survev. More than 7000 of them live in Berlin which before ihe Hitler era had 100,000.Frankfurt which had the second largest eolonv, now has only 300 ,Tews. An official report on the survev 's findings says that Germany's Jewish community is threatened with extinction. Thirtv-four per ccnt of the .Tews are over 55 years of age.
