Another Stopwork Meeting Of Huntly Miners

AUCKLAND, Nov. 8. A third. mass meeting of miners in the Huntly Town. Hall deeided to hold a seeret bailot on the next step to be taken in the dispute over the rate of pay for miners trueking their own eoal. This originated at the Renown mine in the middle of September wken the mina was idle for six days. All the main niines, underground and open-cast, in the Huntly district were idle today, but it is expected work will begin again tomorrow. The loss of coal production because of the series of mass meetings was brought today to more than 10,000 tons. Only about 300 out of the 1500 miners in the Huntly district attended today 's meeting which lasted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. No statement was made by the union as towhat jwas diseussed or deeided.
