Thrce Australians and one New Zeaiandor remain in the iieid to eontest the somi-linals of the New ZeaJand women 's amateur golf eliampionshijj to be played at Otartara on Thursday. Mrs Jackson Ball, of Wanganui, reigning New Zealand cluuiqnoa, was defeated by the young Que«iiaLan«h'r, Miss Judith Perey, 2-up, in a gui.ie whieh went to the lbth hole. Tive Australian was playing iong drives with eveu secouds,. but Mrs Ball was not playing with her usuaJ eaae.
