W.C.T.U.'s Afternoon

The Levin women's Christian Temperance Union held a most successful cradle roll party recently in the Salvation Army Hall. The president, Mrs. Kennerley, welcomed the guest speaker, Mrs. Spencer, of Belmont. There was a large attendance of mothers and children. Mrs. Spencer spoke on the greatest gift — the ehild — and w.as listened to with rapt attention. The afternoon's entertainment was provi'ded by the -Weraroa Band of Hope. Hearty votes of thanks were accorde^ Mrs. Spencer and the Band oi Hope for their assistance with the lunction.
