Tasman Beach W.I. Meets

At the monthly meeting of the Tasman Beach Women's Institute, held recently, Mrs. J. H. McConville presided over a good attendance. Birthday honours for the monfn went to Mesdames M. J. H otehe n and C. Proctor, while included in the correspondence was a letter of appreciation thanking members for their help in the school gala effort. Final arrangements were made for the Institute birthday, which is to take place on November 15, at which all members are to help with the afternoon tea arrangements. Several replies accepting invitations to the birthday were received, these in'dicating the presence of a large number. ' A competition was won by Mrs. C. Parrant. After a deliciouei afternoon tea had been dis'pensed by Mesdames N. RadclifTeff and J. K. Richards, little Wendy Davi.s sang two songs very swee'tly, while Mrs. McConville, in her usual style, delighted with two recitaafternoon to a close.
