^ Personal. Mr. Alex. Bills, a former resident of Otaki, is a patient in the Wanganui Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. F. Bell, of Wellington, spent the weekend with Mrs. C. Bell, Mill Road. Miss A. Lord, following a fortnight spent with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Lord, Rangiuru, has returned to Napier. Mrs. M. R.ewi, of Mill Road, a patient in the Palmerston North Hospital, is reported to be making steady progress towards recovery. Mr. G. S. Amos, managingdirector of Otaki Textiles, Ltd.:, riter an extended tour of ,12 - European countries, spread over some nine months, returns to Wellington today. A welcome to Mr. Amos, to mark also the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the flrm's premises in Otaki, will be arranged in Otairi shortly. Messrs G. and H. Harris, aged 93 and 86 respectively, do not believe in letting much grass grow under their feet. After a short SLay with Mr. and Mrs. H. Harris, Rangatira Street, to whom they came by air from Christchurch, they are now visiting relatives in Bunnythorpe and Woodville. Following short stays in these two places, the two travellers will then fly north and plan to visit Russell, Bay of Islands. iVill Do Better. One of e^even teams taking part in a street march contest held in Palmerston North on Saturday, the Bandoliers Marching Team, although credited with a pleasing performance, did not occupy a very prominent place when the results were announced. The team later took part in displays on the showgrounds, led by Miss E. Taylor, and will endeavour to prove in its next few appearances that the form revealed on Saturday was not its best.
