New Churches Received Into Baptist Union

AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. Three new churches were received into the union today at tlie annual Assembly of Baptist Churches' of New Zealand. They were Belmont and Blockhouse Bay in Auckland and Taita near Lower Hutt. Delega'tes representing these churches were welcomed by the president, Rev. E. W. Watts. The president also welcomed delegates and returned missionaries. Mr. E. R. Clark, of Canterbury, was elected vicepresident. The Assembly will continue in session until November 9.
