Methodist Guild's Fair

The -Otaki Methodist Ladies' Guild held a fair in the Parish Hall on Friday last and it proved to be an outstanding success in every way. The gaily-decorated and heavily-laden stalls were well patronised both in the afternoon and evening. The credit for the successful effort was shared by the Te Horo and Manakau groups, each of which had charge of a stall. In the evening a delightful programme of high class items was presented to a large and appreciative audience. Violin solos were given by Mr. Spencer, vocal solos by Mesdames K. Wyness, W. Marchant and D. Ellwood, . Miss ' T. Richards and Messrs P. Hewitt and A. Gale, and some excellent elocutionary items by Mrs. Perigo.
