U.S. "Reprisal" For Arrest In Prague ?

Received' Tuesday, 10 a.m. WASHINGTON, Oct. 31. The United States today demanded the immediate withdrawal from [the United States of two Czecho- • slovakians, including the ConsulGeneral in New York. I The State Department formally announced: "This Government ha£ iniormed the Czechoslovakian Embassy, are persons non grata to Munk, eonsul-General for Czechoslovakia iri New York, and Mr. Jan '■Horvarth, housekeeper of the Em|,bassy, are personae non grata to (the Government and their imme- ! diate withdrawal from the United States by the Czechoslovakian Government has been requested." State Department ofQcials re'fused to ampnfy the announcement. Reuter says a well informed source stated that the action was a "reprisal" for the recent arrest in Prague of an Ameriean Embassy employee against whom charges of espionage had been preferred.
