Waterside Leader Resigns At Auckland

AUCKLAND, Oct. 30. Mr. Noel Donaldson, vice-president of the Auckland branch of the Waterside Workers' Union, -will resign his ofiice at a stopwork meeting of the branch tomorrow. It is understood Mr. Donaldson has determined to take this step to show his dissatisfaction with the manner in which the policy of the union is being interpreted. This is one or tne most lnteresting developments in the recent history of the waterl'ront. Mr, Donaldson has been a waterside .worker for years and has been national councillor for severai terms.
