AUCKLAND. Oct. 21. After deciding to excliule the Press. from all meetings, the Aueklaml Trades Council last. night discussed the minutes of the National Council of the Federation of Labour. This was as far as it got on the agenda. A heated argument centred round an expression in these minutes of confidence in the Minister of Labour, (Mt McLagan) and the Government. The merit of this expression was strongly contested by a section of the meetiiig but it was endoTsed at 10 0 'clock hv a majority of about 20 votes. There wpre Iover 100 delegates present.
