WELLINGTON, October 19. _ "Private enterprise" on a big seale through which some Wellington children are augmenting their poeket money with sums varying from 10s to £17 through house to house collections on behalf of non-existent appeals, has come-to the notiee of Wellington headmasters and the police. The question was diseussed at a meeting of the Wellington Headmasters' Association and it was decided that headmasters, with the assistance of. the police, should watch the position very elosely, said a statement issued today by Mir. S. M. Kemp ■ on behalf of the association.
