LOjnIjOIN, Oct, 15, The use of atomic bombs in another War might set up a chainw reaction ■ ■ turning the World into "a hall oif' fire," aceording to Dr. E. W. Barnes, Bishop of Birmingham. ' ' This is the prophecy I am inclined to make. If the- nations begin - fighting one another, flinging atomic bombs at one another, they may eliminate our civilisation and there may be a long period before sueh civilisation begins again. There have been sueh periods in the past." Dr. Barnes said the only thing which might prevent this was the renewal of the Christian influence on mankind.
