Adequate protection should be' given to the eyes when observing the eclipse. Several thicknesses of over-exposed photographic film. are found to be suitable. Every year, when there is an eclipse of the sun children suffer with eye troubles through looking at the sun too long. A beaudful conjunction of the moon and the planet Venus will be seen in the western sky on the evening of October 25, when Venus will be a very bright planet to the naked eye.
