Borough Water Supply Disturbed
In future the borough foi;eman or his deputy must be present, otherwise there can be no turning off of the water supply in the borough. i This decision followed a dis-j cussion at the Otaki Borough Council's meeting on Wednesday night, following a report by the Mayor, Mr. C. F. Atmore, that he had "been rung up by agitated persons" at the weekend. Councillors agreed that no person should be entitled to turn off the water and leave it off for varying , periods without authority. Plumbers trading within, the ' borough are to be made aWare of ' the decision arrived at. . 1
