Ranfurly Is Doing Well In Australia

One time All Blaek and captain of the Manawhenua rugby team which won the Ranfurly Shield, Mr. Harry Jacobs, was presented with a son about the time when victory gave the combined team the shield. Harry christened the boy Ranfurly. This was mentione'd during reminiscences at Tuesday night's meeting of the Horowhenua Rugby Union, at which were present many of the older stalwarts of rugby. It was stated that Ranfurly Jacobs was now playing rugby in Australia "and doing very well, too."
