Baby Bonnet Monkey Born in Zoo
WELLINGTON, Oct. 12. The first bonnet monkey born in Australasia, saw the light of day in the Wellington Zoo last week. Five inches of lively human mimie, he is the pride and joy of his parents. Both have spent most of the time since his arrival, strolcing and petting the youngster. He is shortly to be followed by four more of his speeies. The bonnet monkeys, named -for tlieir parted "hair do, " wrere consiclered by many to resemble. humans more elosely than any other creature, said the curator of the zoo, Air C. A. Cptler, today. "This baby which is the first born to any Australian or New Zealand zoo, has pale skin, blue eyes and neatly parted brown h^ir. "
