Woman Rescued After Leap From Migrant Ship

Received Thursday, 10.35 a.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 13. Working by searohlight, seamen of the migrant ship Genejjal A. W. Greely rescued a woman two and a half hours after she jumped into the shark-infested Indiair Ocean during the voyage from Europe. A blonde 25-year-old German woman married to ' a Russian jumped everboard after an argu* ment with her husband. The ship put about and searched in complete darkness until all hope was abandoned. Just as the vessel turned to pick up her course again, a search= light showed her naked body in the water. A boat was lowered at opce and the woman was brought aboard little the worse for her ex^perience. "It was like a miracle," said mem^ bers of the orew.
