Want Land Settlement Act Repealed
AUCKLAND. Oct. 10. A recommendation suggesting the re peal of the Bervicemen 's Settlement and Land Saies Act, was adopted at a meeting of the oxeeutive committee of the Auckland Returued Services Association tonight. The recommendation was received from the housing commit tee which included members of the assoo'ation, the Mastcr Bnilders' Asso eiation and others. The recommendat ion stated that althongh the Act had served a very use- 1 ful pnrpose in preventing any inflation-' nrv bcom in the prices of land and houses, it had now fulfilled its purpose and should be repealed. The executive vrili for ward the recommendation to its Dominion headquarters. t
