Plunket Society Plans Its Collection

The annual house-to-house appeal for funds was the most im-' portant topic discussed at the monthly meeting of the Levin branch of the Plunket Society. The treasurer, Mrs. A, Sutton, urged members not to leave their collecting until late in the month but to get it done as soon as possible. The work of the society was growing each year and every donation, however small, was of great assistanee in the continuation of its efforts. Sister McMillan reported that as the car was in the garage for repairs, she had had to restrict her visits to homes inside the borough boundary. She hoped to have the use of the car again next week. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs. Blenkhorn for taking the nurse to the rooms at Manakau last Wednesday.
