Grass Grub Problem.

Australia is helping New Zealand in the war on grass grubs, aceording to the annuai report of the • Cawthorn Institute, Nelson. In the last yeai'j*16 consignments of eight different species of parasites of the grub have been sent there from Australia. Three species were .found to attack the grub in the institute 's laboratory and one of them has successfully developed under natural field conditions at Ashburton. The report states that although the work is yet in its initial stages the progress has been ,very satisfactory.
