Famous Horsewomen To Visit Levin And Otaki
Two of the world's outstanding horsewomen, Misses Beryl Riley and Peggy St. Leon, are at present touring New Zealand with Rarton's Circus and Rodeo. Miss Riley, Auscralian and American champion lady rough rider, has been featured and photographed in many of, the world's most popular magazines, while Miss St. Leon as an equestrian and bareback rider would not have an equal in any country. They will be seen in an entirely new show which Barton's will present at Levin on Monday next and Otaki on Tuesday. Other artistes include the Martinettes, wire-walking experts; Ken Huntley, ace whip cracker; the sensational Warrens, international tumblers and acrobats; and Celeste, the outstanding contortionist. In addition there is a strong supporting cast, a galaxy of beautiful girls and lions, tigers and monkeys. •
