Ohau School Benefits From Card Evenings
- .The Ohau School would benefit by £30 as a result of the card tournaments held in the school, said the chairman, Mr. J. G, Horn, at the final card evening of the season held recently. Mr. Horn thanked all* those who had so willingly given their help throughout the season, making speciai mention , of the many supporters who had donated prizes for the competitions. Winners of the evening's competition were Mrs. W. McLeavey and Mr. Horn. Consolation prizes went to Mrs. Findsen and Mr. J. Horn. Points prizes for the series were awarded to Mrs. Wehipeihana and Mr. Horn. The Findsen Trophy, awarded to the players having the highest total of points at the end of the season, was won by Mrs. Mudge and Mr. Horn.
