i_ The Levin sale on Tuesday saw a good yarding of stock in all sections, particularly ' in the pig and fat cattle classes. Fat sheep remained fully firm on last week's values, increased levels being reached for shorn and woolly wethers. A large yarding of fat cattle, particularly with regard to ox oeef, caused a slight- easing in prices. Quotations are as follows:— Fat sheep: Fat shorn ewes, 26s lOd to 29s; woolly do., 35s 4d to 45s ld; shorn wethers .45s lOd to 48s 4d; woolly do., 53s * ld to 57s lOd; spring lambs, 42.s 4d; woolly hoggets, 42s lOd to 53s ld; shorn hoggets,- 41s ld, 45s 4d, 46s ld to 56s- 4d. Pigs: Porkers, £4 9s to £5 9s; baconers, £5 10s to £6; store pigs, £2 15s to £4 2s 6d. • Fat cattle: Vealers, £6 10s to £8 17s 6d; runners, £11 10s to £12; light ox, £21 12s 6d to £23 17s 6d; heavy do., £25 7s 6d to £28 7s 6d; heifers, £12 2s 6d, £16 7s 6d to £18 2s 6d; cows, £14 2s 6d, £15 7s 6d, to £17 7s 6d; cows ex-dairy, £8 7s 6d to £9 7s 6d. ■ j
