Air Stowaway Sent To Goal For Three Months
Received Wednesday, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 4. Robert Thomas Green, aged 22, the former R.A.F. pilot who stowed away in a freighter plane in August in the hope of seeing his girl frierid in Canada, was today sent to prison for three months. The magistrates said that they eonsi'dered his action was "likely to imperil the aircraft's safety." The case was the first of its kind to come before a British court. The prosecution stated that the captain of the aircraft found extreme difficulty in taking off because the aircraft seemed tail heavy. Green came out of the tail 105 minutes after the plane left London.
