Moa Creek Murderer Still At Large
DUNEDIN, Oct. 3. The murderer of William Fraser Mclntosh, the 63-year-old Moa Creek farmer, is still at large and Supertendent J. Mclntyre, who is in charge of operations, said tonight that there j had been no fresh developments. j In the biggst and most thorougli man ' hunt carried out in Otago in recent years, a large force of detectives and ! constables, with the assistance of two outside officers, again combed a large area in Central Otago today. They | were looking for the Weapon which had l been used early on the afternoon of Wednesday last. Chief Deteetive F. J. Brady, of Christchurch, and Senior Deteetive J. W. Hill, of Timaru, arrived at Moa Creek today. Both these officers have been prominent in recent murder cases in the north. The police are living at the Moa Creek and Poolburn hotels but the Mclntosh residence is being used as headquarters during the day.
