'♦ As- a finale to its season the Ath'etic Football Club has arranged a game against Marist Old Boys team. It will. be piayed at Levin on Saturday and should produce some good rugby. • The teams are: — Athletic.— Backs : De Castro (full-back) ; Lind, Smith and Lancaster (three-quarters) ; Hudson and Parsons (five-eighths) ; Ryan (half-back). Fprwards: Doyle, Taylor and Rippin (front ,row); Sciascia, Gordon, Powell. ' and Fletcher (middle row) ; Fraser (back row). Reserves: J. Ryan, P. Cameron, V. Bonner and L. McMinn. Marist. — Backs: Doyle (fullback) ; Campbell, Lyons and Kay (three-quarters) ; Hunt and Devoy (five-eighths) ; Tyack (half-back) . Forwards: O'Reilly, Byrne and Conroy (front row) ; Gill, Brown, Donovan and Fairbrother (middle row) ; Lyons (back row) . Reserves: P.. Troy, L. Kidd and J. Byrne. The Marist fifteen includes some weii-known players. Doyle has represented Wellington since 1946 and was considered unlucky to have missed higher honours. Lyons is a former North Island rep. and has also represented Hawke's Bay and Wellington. Hunt has piayed for Wellington juniors over the past fhree seasons and is now concluding his first year in senior footbal1. ' Devoy is a. former Hawke's Bay rep. who came to Wellington ■ half way through this season.
