HOPE ABANDONED
Received Wednesday, 11.37 p.m. MELBOURNE, Sept. 28. Hope has been abandoned fof the five ai'rmen in the Avro Anaon which disappeared on a training flight on Monday afternoon. Wreckage identified as parts of the Avro Anson has been washed up on tlie beach south of Melbourne.
