Wires Support Striking Husbands

Received We'dnesdav 7 p.m. NEW YORK. Sept. 27. A mob of angry women armed with jstieks, staged a demonstration in support of their hubands' strike, at Buffalo today. Some Wore army helffiOts and others brought their children. Two nonstrikers were chased and beaten. The women held a "ladies demonstration " outside the Bell aircraft plant where workers had been on strike 106 days. Over 60 -women and 18 children paraded with placards bearing such slogans as " husbands, wives and kids united," "my daddy fights for me," Over 100 guards tried t.o clear a path for two non-strikers but the women broke through. Thev gave chase as the men fied, repeatedly hitting them with .-ticks. The demonstrators were members of United Auto Workers' Ladies' Auxiliary. The strike, which began over wage and pension demandB, has reached a deadlock.
