WELLINGTON, Sept. 26 The conference of National Party candidates whieh began on Saturday morning, concluded today. On the motion of Mr Hallyburton Johnston (Raglan), seeonded by Mr A. H. MacPherson (Waimarino), the foliowing resolution was carried: — "That this conference of National Party candidates enthusiastically * endorses the 1949 General Election policy and warmly congratulates Mr. Hollana and the policy committee on the production of so realistic, practieal -and worthwliile a policy. We pledge ourselves to strive for victory in November to ensure the National Party the opportunity of implementing this policy as the Government of New Zealand. " At the conelusion of the conference, the Deputy-Leader, Mr K. J. HolvoaKe, paid a tribute to Mr Holland. and tne team spirit he had engendered in candidates..
