Lady Golfers Play L.G.U. Medal Round
; — The winner of last week's L.G.U. medal round played by the ladies' section of the Levin Golf Club Was Mrs. D'. Willcox with a score Of 102 — 36—66. She was followed by Mrs. Porter and Miss Fox, who handed in cards of 95 — 25—70 and 102—30—72 respective y. These three players have thus reduced their handicaps and, are to be congratulated on their good play. Mrs. Denton has also reduced her handicap by three and is to be congratulated. Members are reminded that all cards handed in for competitions or handicapping purposes' miiSt be Coi*rectly signed and dated. Failure on the part of any player to do this renders the card valueless. This. week the ladies will play on Thursday and the competition is the- second round of the captain's trophy in the form of a stableford bogey. The draw is:— Mrs. McLennan and Miss Herriok, Mrs. Dickinson and Mrs! Ryder, Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Nicholsoh, Mrs. Clarke an'd Mrs. Wiilcox, Mrs. Denton and Mrs. Bertram, Mrs. King and Mrs. H. Black, Mrs. Hastedt and Mrs. Travers. To play at the weekend: Mrs. Porter and Miss Allen, Miss Fox and Mrs. Frederikson, Miss Mitchell and Miss Kilsby, Mrs. J. B'ack and Mrs. Franklin, Mrs. Richards and marker. The draw for the nine-hole competition is: — Mrs. Ogier and Mrs. Brazendale, Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Donnelly. "
